How Is OEE Calculated?
OEE is the product of three independently calculated metrics:
- Availability = (Planned Time − Downtime) ÷ Planned Time × 100
- Performance = (Ideal Cycle Time × Total Units) ÷ Operating Time × 100
- Quality = (Total Units − Defective Units) ÷ Total Units × 100
