GORTEF makes PTFE (Teflon) coated glass fabric and skived film into four families of industrial product: tapes for heat sealer jaws and seal bars, belts and bands for band sealers, dryers and curing lines, sheets for platens and press covers, and food service release products for commercial kitchens. Everything is rated to +260°C and cut to your dimensions rather than sold in fixed sizes.

PTFE Tapes
- Standard PTFE TapeHeat seal tape for packaging machines in 3, 5 and 10 thou, slit to any width from 1000 mm rolls.
- PTFE Skived Film TapeSkived film tape for electrical insulation, heat-resistant masking and low-friction wear strips.
- Zone TapesAn adhesive-free centre strip for impulse sealers, so nothing is left on the heating wire when the tape is changed.

Cut to order. Tapes are slit to any width from 1000 mm master rolls, and sheets are cut to any length from 1 to 30 m off a 1000 mm wide roll. Belts and bands are made endless to the length and width of your machine. Give us the dimensions of the part you are replacing and we will quote the matching product.
PTFE coated glass fabric and skived PTFE film are both rated for continuous service to +260°C. Where a product carries a silicone adhesive, the adhesive is the limiting layer rather than the PTFE. Each product page states the rating for that construction, and the PTFE temperature guide covers how heat affects service life.
Match the thickness of the part you are removing. Most heat sealer tapes are 3, 5 or 10 thou: 3 thou for fast impulse sealing, 5 thou as the general-purpose choice, and 10 thou where abrasion or a heavy jaw shortens tape life. If an OEM part is specified in mil, that is the same unit as our thou.
