PTFE Teflon Heat Sealing Belts
Industrial-grade heat sealing belts for packaging applications
Last updated: February 2026
PTFE heat sealing belts are endless conveyor belts made from PTFE coated glass fabric, used on packaging machines where heat must transfer through the belt surface to seal plastic film. Two belts run in tandem (left and right) with a hot plate between them, melting the plastic wrapping film as products pass through to create sealed packages.
What Are Heat Sealing Belts Used For?
Heat sealing belts are used on continuous motion packaging machines that seal products inside plastic film. Common applications include biscuit and snack wrapping, toilet tissue and paper product packaging, shrink-wrap bundling, and any form-fill-seal operation where the product moves through the sealing station at speed.
Machines from manufacturers such as Hayssen, Casoli, Doboy, and Casmatic typically use PTFE heat sealing belts. The belts are sold in left and right pairs matched to your machine specifications.
Features & Benefits
The belts track correctly with tracking studs, eyelets or silicone cords inserted in to one edge of the belt that then positioned in to a pre machined groove in the rollers of the machine, this prevents the belts from tracking off and extends the belts life.
Hayssen, Casolli, Doby and Casmatic plastic film sealing machines use these belts.
Heat Sealing Process
Our PTFE heat sealing belts are engineered for optimal heat transfer and durability, ensuring consistent sealing performance across various packaging applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
PTFE heat sealing belts are continuous loop belts made from PTFE-coated material, designed for heat transfer sealing in packaging machines. They run in tandem pairs with a hot plate between them, melting and sealing plastic wrapping film as products pass through.
The lifespan of heat sealing belts depends on operating temperature, cycle rate, and machine setup. Belts with properly installed tracking features such as tracking studs, eyelets, or silicone cords last significantly longer by preventing misalignment and reducing uneven wear.
PTFE heat sealing belts are commonly used in Hayssen, Casolli, Doby, and Casmatic plastic film sealing machines. These machines are typically found in food packaging and consumer goods manufacturing, where they seal products such as biscuit packets and toilet tissue rolls.
