GORTEF supplies PTFE separator feed belt to fit the Mineral Technologies Reading IRMS, made to the dimensions you measure off your own machine. It is an aftermarket replacement rather than a genuine Mineral Technologies Pty Ltd part.
The Reading induced roll separator runs a bigger roll than the rare earth machine, 133 or 160mm, at 760 or 1000mm roll width, two starts, single or twin pass. Mineral Technologies put more than 500 of them in service. It is the machine that takes ilmenite out of rutile concentrate and does the final magnetic clean on zircon.
Which GORTEF Product Fits the Mineral Technologies Reading IRMS?
Both published roll widths, 760 and 1000mm, sit well inside the 1660mm fabric, so an IRMS belt is cut from one piece. The roll is larger here than on the rare earth machine at 133 or 160mm, which is a gentler wrap and leaves room for the heavier 0.40mm belt if abrasive feed is cutting the thin one short. Thickness still comes off your own feed and your own separation numbers rather than off this page.
Confirming the Exact Specification

Send us the dimensions of the belt you are removing, or a photo of it alongside its packaging, and we will confirm the construction before you order. Measure the old belt itself where you can. Working back from the machine aperture or the roller centres gives a length that is close but rarely exact.
How to Order a Belt for the Mineral Technologies Reading IRMS
Measure the belt across its width and right around its length, and tell us how the ends are joined. We make PTFE belts endless to the length you measure and finish the edges to suit the way your machine tracks them.
If the old belt is already off the machine, measure it flat and send a photo of the join with your dimensions. The join type matters as much as the length for how a belt runs.
