GORTEF supplies PTFE platen cover sheet and separator sheet to fit the Martin Group MEPP, made to the dimensions you measure off your own machine. It is an aftermarket replacement rather than a genuine Martin Group Srl part.
The MEPP is Martin Group's membrane pressure press and the oldest design they still sell: the company dates the pressure system to 1965 and the first machine, the VARIABIL MEPP 130. Instead of closing two rigid plates it inflates a membrane with compressed air, which is what lets it press materials of different thickness in one cycle. It has two working planes worked alternately, so a cover sheet changeover is two sheets rather than one. The XTP version runs to 2 kg/cm2 at 230 degrees, comfortably inside what PTFE-coated glass fabric takes.
Which GORTEF Product Fits the Martin Group MEPP?
The working plane needs a release face that survives the press temperature without bonding to the interlining. PTFE-coated glass fabric is rated well past the 230 degrees the XTP tops out at, and the non-adhesive 1000mm sheet is cut to the plane rather than fitted, so the same stock covers either of the two planes.

Send us the dimensions of the sheet you are removing, or a photo of it alongside its packaging, and we will confirm the construction before you order. Measure the plate you are facing rather than the old sheet, which will have been trimmed to fit and may have shrunk back at the edges.
How to Order Sheet for the Martin Group MEPP
Tell us the thickness you need and the size of the area you are covering. PTFE sheet comes 1000mm wide and is cut to any length between 1 and 30 metres.
Say whether you need it self-adhesive or plain, because a plate being refaced and a release sheet that is lifted out between cycles take different grades.
