GORTEF supplies PTFE element cover tape to fit the Audion Magneta, made to the dimensions you measure off your own machine. It is an aftermarket replacement rather than a genuine Audion Elektro B.V. part.
The Magneta is the medium-duty impulse sealer in the range, holding its sealing arm down with an electromagnet so the seal does not depend on how hard the operator presses. Audion sell the PTFE, the seal wire and the rubber as a spare parts set, which tells you how the machine is meant to be maintained: all three at once.
Which GORTEF Product Fits the Audion Magneta?
The cover tape over an impulse element is a consumable the manufacturer expects to be changed with the wire, not a permanent part of the machine. Ours is the same PTFE-coated glass fabric with high-temperature silicone adhesive, slit to the width of your bar off a 30 metre roll, so a set of changeovers comes off one roll instead of one pre-cut strip at a time.
How to Order Tape for the Audion Magneta
Tell us the width and thickness of the tape you are stripping off and we will slit a roll to match. GORTEF supplies PTFE tape in 30 metre rolls at any width you need.
OEM tapes are usually specified in mil. That is the same unit as our thou, so a 10 mil OEM tape is a 10 thou GORTEF tape.
