Tapes are supplied in any width cut from the standard 1000mm wide roll in 30meter roll length's.
These tapes are supplied self-wound or with a yellow peel off release liner. Our pressure sensitive tapes are supplied with silicone high temperature adhesive (+ 260'C).
The main application of the PTFE tape is to assist with plastic bag sealing.
PTFE Tapes are most frequently used in heat sealing applications within the packaging industry for covering the sealing jaws in packaging machines.

Other applications include lining chutes, guide rails and everywhere you require a highly slippery surface.
Zone Tapes
Zone tapes tend to have two strips of adhesive normally about 10 to 15mmm in width running down the full length of each edge of the roll. The remaining middle part of the tape has no adhesive so when applied to the heating element wire it does not leave any messy adhesive when being replaced.
Metal Detectable Tape
Blue-MDT metal detectable tape features a PTFE/glass backing with Aluminium foil and a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive cover with yellow protective liner. The PTFE/glass is ideal for non-stick surface applications on heat sealing machines, form seal equipment, blister packaging. Other release applications could be as chutes, dead plates or conveyor rails.
The Aluminium foil is perfect for being identified by metal detector equipment should the tape become worn or fall from its work surface. A silicone adhesive backing applied to the Aluminium foil allows for reliable bonding to the work area.
